Bird Control with the Purivox TA-RC System mounted on a trailer at Memmingen Airport / Germany

Memmingen Airport (Allgäu Airport) in Germany has adopted the Purivox TA-RC System, mounted on a mobile trailer, to manage persistent bird activity across the airfield. The airport has faced significant challenges, particularly from flocks of crows that pose a safety risk to aircraft operations.

To address this issue, the trailer-mounted version of the Purivox TA-RC System was deployed, offering flexibility and effective coverage of the entire airfield. The system uses targeted acoustic signals to deter birds, helping to minimize the risk of bird strikes and ensuring smoother, safer airport operations.

Mr. S, Nominated Person for Safety & Security at Memmingen Airport, shared his experience:

“The Purivox TA-RC system fully meets our expectations; the cooperation with Purivox is excellent.”

The success at Memmingen Airport highlights the value of mobile bird control solutions tailored to dynamic airfield environments.
