How Bird Balls® Work
Each Bird Ball® is a 100 mm black UV-stabilized HDPE sphere that floats on water and self-arranges into a tight, interlocking layer, covering approximately 91% of the water surface. This visual camouflage makes the pond unrecognizable to birds, which rely on reflective cues to detect water bodies.
The coverage adapts automatically to water level changes and to obstructions like fountains or equipment, ensuring consistent protection year-round.
